BETEZDA NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH

HOUSE OF GRACE

announcement

The vision of the foundation is to have a place of our own where we can have all these projects !!! Please join us in prayer for it to come into being. The project and the land are bought, we are waiting for God to prepare the finances so that we can start building the mission center !!!!!

BE A DIFFERENCE!

The vision of the New Testament Betezda Church is to preach the gospel (the Good News) to all people in Romania and to make disciples who will carry your testimony to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28: 19-20, Acts 1: 8)

The purpose of the Betezda New Testament Church

The church is a place of prayer (Ephesians 5:18), worship (John 4: 23,24, Matthew 22: 37-40) and equipment (Philippians 2: 1,2, 2 Peter 1: 2-10) of the faithful for them to discover their calling (Ephesians 4: 1), to serve (1 Peter 4:10) in the community of Radauti and to the ends of the earth !!

Our values

The Bible – We believe in the inspired Word of God contained in the Old and New Testaments; we believe that this represents His supreme authority and is infallible.

Holy Trinity – We believe in God One who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ – Jesus Christ is truly God and truly Man; he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and incarnate through the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, sacrificing Himself for the sins of men. After God raised Him from the dead, He ascended to heaven and now stands at the right hand of the Father, being our Priest and Mediator.

The Holy Spirit – The mission of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ and to convince people of their sins; He is present in the believers to guide them, teach them, protect them, helping them in their daily lives. (Acts 1: 8)

Repentance, Reborn, Sanctification — Repentance is the act of returning to God and forsaking sin (Mark 1:15; Luke 13: 3; Acts 3:19). Being born again is the supernatural change made by God as a result of man’s repentance. Sanctification is a daily process that takes place in the life of the believer under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Church – The Church is made up of believers who through faith in the saving blood of Jesus Christ have been born again through the Word and Spirit of God and are united in the body of Jesus Christ, whose Head is Jesus Christ.

Water Baptism – Water baptism is the act of immersion in water officiated in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, according to the commandment of Christ. He represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. (John 14:15)

Baptism and the gifts of the Holy Spirit – It is the endowment with power for the service and righteousness of the believer. It is the filling of the temple already cleansed by repentance, rebirth and sanctification, it is a gift of God in response to prayer. The baptism with the Holy Spirit is accompanied by the manifestation of tongues and spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12: 7-11)

The Lord’s Supper – It was instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ to commemorate His death. Only born-again Christians, cleansed from sin and baptized in water, can partake of the Lord’s Supper. (Luke 22: 19-20, 1 Corinthians 10)

The future of the Church

We believe in the visible return of Jesus Christ to take his church, in the bodily resurrection of the saints for eternal life in the presence of God, and the bodily resurrection of the unrighteous for judgment. (John 14: 3, 1 Thess. 4:17, John 3:19)

Praise and worship

God wants us to be a people of praise, thanksgiving, and worship all the time, and when we meet to praise the Lord together (collectively) He is present in our midst. The desire of the group of praise is to bring an atmosphere of praise and worship in which the Holy Spirit is felt by every heart, in such a way that the church will be built, edified and transformed. (Matthew 18:20, Romans 12: 3-8, 1 Corinthians 12: 7)

Working with Youth

Young Adults is a group in which young people are motivated to live for God and understand their calling for life through various Bible studies, Christian seminars and camps being encouraged to get involved in church service, visiting the elderly, in various activities with street children and Roma as well as children from state dormitories.

Group meetings are weekly on Sundays from 16:00 to 18:00.

Working with Children

The work with children takes place on Sunday morning at the Sunday School for children aged 6-9. It is our duty to educate children as we see in Psalm 78 where it tells of God’s wonderful works over the years aimed at teaching us that obedience is a blessing and disobedience leads to disaster. Lessons like these from the past of the people of Israel are examples whose purpose is to help us avoid repeating their mistakes and the key to remembering them is the regular study that reminds us how God wants us to live.

Cell groups

We want every family to have an intimate relationship with God and to grow in the knowledge of God. Thus, every Wednesday in spring and winter we meet for cell groups in which we have various Bible studies and debate of church values.

The group meeting is Wednesday between 17:00 and 19:00

 Prayer and Intercession

These values have a great role in the Betezda Humanitarian Foundation. We want to keep this passion for prayer burning and not forget what James said in chapter 5:16: “Great is the prayer of faith.”

Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 we meet for prayer and intercession, God has worked hard and many souls have been touched by the power of the Holy Spirit in this place. Maria Preda through Bible teaching and the guidance of the Holy Spirit encourages us to live a life of faith every day as we approach the problems we face in the family and in the society in which we live.
